VW AMAROK





The new Amarok is more than just a collection of features. With this vision in mind, 10 dynamic clips were created, each designed to take viewers on an unexpected visual journey.

ASSIGNMENT



The second-generation VW Amarok raises the bar in the pickup truck segment with cutting-edge technology, a bold yet refined design, and premium materials. To reflect this evolution, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Design Department spearheaded the development of a fresh product communication strategy. The objective was to captivate a diverse audience and showcase. the Amarok's versatility as both a capable utility vehicle and a stylish lifestyle companion.

Impressive in every detail: the new Amarok is more than just a collection of features. With this vision in mind, 10 captivating clips were produced, each offering viewers a surprising experience. The journey begins with abstract, spherical scenes in a macro world of particle simulations, with each clip gradually revealing a key design element or feature of the Amarok. To maintain excitement, one clip was shared weekly on social media,creating a suspenseful buildup that led to the world premiere.

MY ROLE



This production is a collaboration between Effekt-Etage GmbH and TACTYC Studio, with support from Houdini-powered technology.

As a Senior CGI Artist, I contributed to the creation of these captivating clips, produced by the team at Effekt-Etage GmbH.
My responsibilities included camera animations, lighting, shading, and animatics.

Please note, I was not involved in creating the Houdini simulations
